Bah Career Training affirms a CNA training program that educates students on the basic skills and abilities needed to perform essential functions in a fast-paced environment. Their CNA training program ensures their students to stand out and be skillful in various settings such as long-term care facilities, hospitals, home cares, and hospices. Bah Career Training Inc. reported to the Texas Workforce Commission that in 2020-2021 they had a graduation rate of 100% and an employment rate of 80%. These numbers are based on 6 students reported.

Collin College's Health Professions curriculum provides you with the training and knowledge you need for a rewarding career as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Electrocardiography (EKG) Technician, Patient Care Technician (PCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Phlebotomy Technician (PHLEB). The five career tracks allow you to choose the specialization that best fits your career goals. Each track offers in-depth education with hands-on experience, thanks to experienced faculty that have worked in the healthcare field and valuable clinical partnerships with local hospitals, facilities, and clinics.

The variety of options in Health Professions also allows you to build your knowledge and skills as you progress through the different levels of educational awards. You can earn an Occupational Skills Award (OSA) and a Level 1 Certificates on your way to an Associate of Applied Science in Health Professions, providing you with the chance to work in your field of interest as you continue your education.

Accelerated Nurse Assistant & Patient Care Technician Program The Accelerated Nurse Assistant & Patient Care Technician Program includes instruction in basic nursing skills, basic restorative services, mental health, social service needs, personal care skills, and resident’s rights. Students will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to care for convalescing residents in long-term care facilities in 4 to 8 weeks. Graduates of this program will be able to perform Basic First Aid, CPR, take vital signs, apply the element of basic nutrition in meal planning, and follow infection control measures.

Following successful completion of the course, the student will receive a certificate of completion for the Nursing Assistant and Patient Care Technician course. A permanent record of course completion will be maintained at AAHA. The nursing assistant training is an excellent starting place in health care for those students intending to go further with their medical education. The student will be eligible to sit for the Nurse Assistant and PCT certification exams if all skills have been met.
